SB 6416 Dies A Silent Death

There is a story to this but it is 12:35 AM

Briefly, Rep. Ruth Kagi and the House staff want foster "caregivers" on the same level as relatives. Senator Hargrove and I....don't agree. So, we did not agree with the House BAD amendment to the Senate bill. Hargrove and I agreed the bill should not move forward so it was not brought up for a concurrence vote in the Senate and it died on the calendar as was planned if we couldn't get it changed.

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago..this state will only change through the courts. The current administration likes the way it is. Since Denise Revels Robinson didn't like the bill I guess we have to say she is a nice lady...but not interested in change. None of them are.

This morning I got an email from Bari Willard. Region 3 left her a phone message and an email saying her granddaughter would not be able to visit several times because she would be in Mexico. "So too bad for you," was the real message. There was no mention of getting added time to make up for this loss. It was very cold and as always...shows a preference that "Lilly" really doesn't need to see the Willards at all.

I emailed Denise this morning and politely asked if there would be make-up time. She was prompt is reply. Region 3 was in error and she apologised. There would be make-up time.

To this I say "Thank you" to Denise. But, the endemic problem exists. How in the world can people do what they did and not offer make-up time in the first place? It is beyond the thought process of most people.

If "fosters" were on equal footing; they would be charged with child kidnapping. Some of them should be glad they have more rights than the average citizen!

Some of these "foster's" will always be known as child kidnappers and that will not EVER change! They can't undo what they have already done?

There is going to be an aftermath with the coming bills that were passed and will get either signed off by the governor or changed and made worse then signed off by the governor.

Its clear. They want families torn apart and whatever justification they have in their minds is firmly placed by the Ram himself. Things are getting real ugly to me.

You did the best you could on this one Pam. I am proud of your efforts.

Its to bad that the Senate bill as written very carefully did not pass. I am glad that it was voted out. Giving foster parents any standing EVER would create a much larger child market than we already have.
Just look what was really going on in the Poca case. Poca and her siblings by the Grace of God were returned to their family and she is no longer special needs. As a matter of fact she was not special needs with in a month of being removed from those foster people.
The courts need to demand that the law of family first is help up. Nothing prohibits a Judge from asking for solid proof that a family member is unfit. And they should. Maybe next year will be better

This is really sad to hear....I had hoped that the lawmakers in this state would pull their heads out of their collective behinds and do something right for a change. I wonder how many lawsuits are going to have to be filed against DSHS for this state to wake up and see that there really is a major problem with the system!!!! I commend you Pam for all the hard work you have done on this bill. I say to everyone....keep fighting for your children/grandchildren and file those lawsuits!!!!! Maybe change will come then.

Because it does not effect them. They loose no sleep over you seeing your family member or not. The are cold-blooded, bred to serve a state, not a family. I see no change can be done here, should we take this to D.C. instead? This is not over.

You could try passing a law that makes judges responsible for their decisions in any case where a jury isn't used. Currently they hold absolute immunity and often engage in CYA decisions instead of following the law.

Pam. I am in Texas and at the mercy of a corrupt CPS, Amicus, CASA and county attorney. My children have been kidnapped for over one year. I have fought so hard and paid so much money, time, effort, tears, prayers, pleadings. etc. to a brick wall. Despairing of ever regaining my babies and family, there seems to be no way to get out of this carefully constructed trap to keep me busy while my poor young children float farther and farther away. Time is passing. Opportunities sabotaged that would be crucial to my children and myself; life experiences and minutes lost forever to a deaf and greedy system that makes up rules, and reasons with no accountability or relief. Devils dressed in Sheep's clothing talk about the children's best interest to be alienated from their mother, these women CASA, Amicus, CPS, Judges, County attorney - all women, grasping at my children, pulling them into a devil's pit of sexual perversion and drugs, lies, deceit, manipulation, games, trickery which they all hide in their hearts. I plead to God, to the people and get no answer.

They do this to "wear you down" further than you are, if that is possible. My daughter recently experienced the same. No makeup time. She is pregnant, again, due in June. She was told that if she did not relinquish her rights, she would lose the new baby, so she relinquished! Will she keep the new baby? You know the answer. I filed a motion for a stay. I recently recieved a letter signed by Denise which gives the foster parents a "big hurray" for their work, making sure they are compensated for any trips relating to education, visitation, doctor appointments, etc..and any retroactive time need be listed ASAP to receive back compensation. I was very sad to know there is such a conflict. I also received another letter stating that more than 10,000 children are in foster care in Washington State..hurray for us! Good Job! Listen to www.abusefreedomunited.com blogtalk anytime for tonight's show wherein Attorney Gary Preble, Councilman Bob Apple, a very experienced social worker, and more, were guests of the show. If you want to learn something, listen! We had quite the informative show! Recently I heard a story about a child who was sent to Texas in the middle of a dependency. Two workers boasted at receiving $2,000 for making that decision. The conflicts, and payments are going on and what can we do about it? Listen to the show. And, if foster parents were willing to take children for little or no expectation of compensation, we may consider them as having standing, but..they already have standing. They recieve letters telling them of court dates and that they may testify or send a delcaration! They have standing and are parties to any action in which they have the child who is dependent! The foster parent testified at my hearing and was caught in a lie by attorneys. Was there any consequences for lying under oath? NO.

why are people patting pam on the back ? SHE killed the bill..

I agree with anonymous at the top If Fosterer's were to have equal footing they would become complicit in Parental alienation and out right child kidnapping's and of course this is what they already do but CPS currently generally protects their co-conspirators and enjoy their own UN-qualified immunity for doing so while hiding behind the innocent children they intentionally fail claiming confidentiality so called to protect the children; but in actuality to hide the fraud from the public...

Pam killed the bill to keep it from becoming something that is not within the family's best interest. They were at a stalemate and it is up to us to change the House's mind for next year. Short session, had to make a decision that was in our best interest. I support you decision, Senator.

Maybe we should slam out some initiatives to let the people vote for for what is the right thing to do. And while we are at it maybe we should include a higher standard of proof in dependency and termination trials. And the right to a jury trial. And a lie law that puts anyone who lies at all in child welfare cases in prison for a very long time. This is my new mission!

Anonymous above how dare CPS insinuate that a non relevant criminal history aromatically precludes a child's loving and capable family from recuperating a child who was never neglected or abused
in the first place from these abhorrent criminal child traffickers who dare tell the greatest lie of all.

"WE ARE CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES"

Their Status-Quo is to make up crap and then squawk about it.

And what off the child? SOLD into intentional failure...

It is an errant presupposition to believe that CPS protects children when in actuality they overwhelmingly destroy them to the extent that the cohesiveness of societies nuclear family's are endanger of becoming EXTINCT.
What is truly frightening about this is that our politicians by and large and our legal justice system willingly supports and participates!!!
