Thank you Colville reader for the links to State Ombudsman Mary Meinig's report on the truly bad things going on in that office. (Please see press release from DSHS and the full report.) The Spokesman Review will report on this.

"It really looks good. My question about a couple of statements made in the report was the Judaical, Medical and Social Services and CASA all admitted to knowing what they were doing was wrong, yet they continued doing so which shows intent to violate the law have no remorse for the harm they have caused to the children and families. Are they going to be prosecuted?" Lola Bailey, President, National Committee of Grandparents for Children's Rights

Rock on Lola!!!!
Thank you Lola for pointing out the root of the problem, there is no accountability or consequences. These blogs, these reports and the media attention mean absolutely nothing if the individuals are not going to be held accountable. There needs to be more than just lip service there needs to be action, accountability, and responsibility upon the facts and evidence.
RE:"Loss of Trust: A Crisis of Confidence In the Child Welfare System in Colville"
The only thing you can trust in Child Welfare and this is nationally not just in Colville is that you may have complete confidence that Child Welfare is the major perpetrator of the abuse sustained to children and families.
This exemplifies the very abuse epidemic they use to scare our citizens into giving them even more power.
The fox is in charge of the chicken house so until the fox is deposed the Child Abuse Epidemic will only get worse.
