Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson is dead so now we will see something good about him in the press. Personally, I am disgusted by the press exploitation to the extent of FOX News giving a run down on the man's personal health history. Is nothing private?

OK...so he made himself look like Elizabeth Taylor. And, there were the financial problems and the sham marriages and the non-conviction of child molestation charges. But, the press delighted in the downward spiral.

It is taking his death to have the press remember the King of Pop in any way positive at all. Too bad he can't see it.

While he may have disfigured himself almost beyond recognition. He was the King of Pop. That man could sing, he was an Icon, and noone...I mean NOONE can move like he did. I loved him! He will be missed.

Dateline NBC Tonight:
"Dateline NBC" will mark today's tragic deaths of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson with a very special two-hour tribute Thursday, 9-11 PM ET. NBC News' Ann Curry and Meredith Vieira will anchor the tribute.

Paraphrasing one fan, Michael gave himself (and his talent) to the world and we (the people) should have taken better care of him.

Michael was a pop culture icon, and I am happy I grew up captivated of his genius. I choose to remember him through the eyes of God. May he rest in peace and in the care of the creator protected from public scrutiny.

I have reached an all new level of disgust with the press. As a Beverly Hills nanny I never could understand your mindset that it was OK to rush celebrity children on a playground or at a school, thereby scaring the heck out of children there to play. Lately, I thought it went beyond bad taste when the press showed up after the death of Natasha Richardson and shoved the cameras in the face of her two young sons. Yesterday, once the press heard that Farrah had “gone” they did not have the good grace to say “Sorry” to Ryan and leave him in peace, instead they surrounded his car. But, it goes beyond all human decency to show photos of Michael Jackson in the last attempts to revive him. At what point do you press junkies say enough is enough and let people have dignity in their final hours? The press corp is proof that mankind is devolving.
